Let's Talk About Feelings
Identify the Feelings
Materials Needed:
- Markers
- Poster Words and/or Pictures from the Story
- Emotion Stickers
Use emotion stickers to identify the feeling(s) on the poster.
After the story is finished, talk about the many feelings that Mother Rabbit may have been juggling throughout the story.
On a separate poster list specific actions or phrases from the story and have the child identify what feeling Mother Rabbit and the baby rabbits may have had during that time.
Feelings About:
- The Father’s accident in Mr. McGregor’s garden.
- The Rabbits playing in Mr. McGregor’s garden.
